I went to this last year and had an absolute blast of a day (even with the slightly unpredictable weather and a raging hangover in the morning). The ride down is easy enough and great fun. You see a lot of classic cars just on the way there. The site is massive with plenty going on - however it’s more car orientated than bike but there’s still the motorbike hill climb and an area dedicated to them.
When I mentioned to it to a few people this year they thought it would be nice to go down as a group to the next one, this will be the 20th Anniversary show. Tickets for the main days are quite expensive but as I said previously it is a whole days worth of things to do and see. I was thinking of doing one of the quieter (and cheaper days) Thursday (£25) or Friday (£41).
I’m just gauging to see if people are interested and then set up something formal closer to the dates (4th to 7th July) More detail:
