I enjoyed it too but I thought it was odd they decided to show the drunk driver clip. Given that it was a bit of a fk-up. Fine, it got a drunk-driver off the road and it made me laugh to think “I bet he doesn’t do THAT again”, but given how hard they’re trained to go in - when the intelligence is wrong it makes them look a bit st.
(And before lots of people shout - I do think they do a good job in difficult circumstances, etc)
turned off once they got onto the menendez case, we know what happened the police were given bum information, were psyched up by that duff information and advice, they went expecting a bomber but shot a tourist, (and broke their own rules of engagment becasue of it)…the rest of it was cool and getting those two youths at the beginning a real good job done…
agree about the day to day bobbies without firearms though, they are put through hell at times and it MUST seem a pretty lonely job at times especially when things go wrong…
Agreed, the unarmed bobby on the street does have a lot to contend with but I still think it takes someone special who is willing to go to work knowing they will quite possibly be facing a loaded weopon and it’s gonna be him/her or me:angry:
shows they dont always get it right…but that said they have to act on the ino, good on’em:)
They acted on the information they had at the time,the day you don’t take it seriously and don’t deal with it properly is the time when it all goes wrong and people get hurt.It might not look pretty but is a necessary response.
