Rode to work on a loan bike while my Buell is serviced, its a HardleyMovinSon Street rod, massive bike with loads of grunt and okish handling (for a bus!) . but bl00dy uncomfortable. Still can’t moan , its free!!! Would never spend £12k on one.

New Forest was good despite the rain. Went to Sammy Millers Motorbike Museum - very good!

Wanna go on two wheels next time, loadsa great roads! There’s a motorbike show going on in Beaulieu soon but it’s on same weekend as Donington.

Anyone fancy a weekend biking break to the New Forest in the Summer?

I am keen for a weekend break to NF.

I went this weekend on the bike and there are some great roads around there, we were going to go to the motorcycle museum, but went to the motor museum instead. It is well worth a visit-I think that is where the show you mentioned is normally held.

The only problem was my leaking waterproofs on the way back! They started letting water in after about 35 miles, when I got home I tipped my boots upside down and water ran out! Not to mention my crotch and every other seem that let a few gallons in. I was very cold and happy to get home for a hot shower.
