God loves a trier

Ok someone had to be the idiot out on the roads on monday trying in vain to get home via the M23 and M25 to stansted, and yes that idiot was me, and my 125, such good times we have together.

Anyway as im sure you can imagine i certainly didnt get very far at all. It only took me 5 hours to do the round trip from friends house, some motorway, and back to friends house…approx 40 miles.

I tried, i failed, and in the process i got very wet, cold, and broke parts of my bike. A successfull day out one might say.

Evidence…

Good lad…

Where are the wheelies though  And what you doing sat behind all that traffic :w00t::hehe:

lmao - Good Effort!
:hehe:

The snow/slush between lanes and on the offsides of the road was much more than was even worth considering, the underside of a lorry wouldnt of been so kind as the weather.

You should put snow chains next time! Nice effort!!

Definitely a good effort! A shame the “bike” lanes were slushed. Be more careful next time! What did you break?

Well done

You deserve a bloody medal. Not sure whether it will be for bravery or for being a bit mental.

Nothing but respect my friend

Yeah, well done for not getting killed!:alien: Here’s a tip for you, before you set off on you bike…or the car for that matter: www.bbc.co.uk/weather

It would have helped keep you warm

Hahaha true, and at the very least dry

Kevsta would be so proud of you wearing that yellow strip.

He has a selection you know! lol
:hehe:

Sorry mate, I think you were very very stupid.

You were not only risking yourself but in the very high chances that
you did injure yourself then emergency services would have had to risk it
all as well trying to get to you as fast as they could.

As someone who has been out working over the last couple of nights,
I’m truly amazed at how many idiots I’ve seen making journeys that were not vital.

Respect to you!!

A few years back, a friend of mine rode from Edinburgh to Dundee in heavy snow (it started after he set off). His wheels were bouncing off the sides of the ruts he was riding in, following lorries … madness, but brave.

dude…respect…but as said…your mad!!

even im not stupid enough to ride in the snow!:w00t:

i’m gonna try tomorrow to ride, will have a good walk up and down the roads near my house checking for ice before i leave;)

Remember the first important decision of riding is whether to ride at all!

I agree with the previous poster that said you should have kept your d*ck at home. You could have easily ended up under a lorry.

Tempting fate isn’t really that heroic, merely stupid!
