Gerbing Gloves - Flashing red light

this morning of all mornings, the heating gloves decided not to work! got a flashing red light.

aparently : Flashing Red= Output short/Overload

anyone know what to check/ how to fix this?

thanks

I think the red light means ‘too cold to work’.

It’s the “Grow some testes” light  Only messing. I’m thinking return to dealer under warranty.

I think benedictireland was joking, lol

As von said, gerbs come with a lifetime warranty on the electrics so should be fine to send them back…

whatever happened to going to the gym first to warm yourself up Pan?

Yeah, think it’s a fault, think I had mine do this once. Try just plugging one glove or other in.
Manual says flashing blue is lack of voltage. And flashing green is lowest heat setting.

Tbh Gerbings usual turn replacements around in a couple of days. But I picked up a spare controller for £20 to tie me over - yeah I’ve their stuff many times now…

It’s means the red light still works in flashing mode

It means… “the other Londonbiker Greek was warm in his car”…

Stop getting heated gloves and buy some Tucano Urbano muffs… they are so great and if you don’t have to worry about plugging in. If you combine them with some heated grips (optional), you don’t even need winter gloves!

Gloves working again, it was a short on one of the wires that plug into the gloves. 2min soldering and job done. No need to send back

Ps you guys never forget anyhting eh? Since the girls I’ve changed routine and go to the gym at work.

I hope that 2 min fix hasn’t voided the lifetime warranty

It was on the controller not the gloves themselves

PS. My controller failed (kept blowing fuses) so I emailed Gerbing and they sent me a new one the same day without even sending the old one back. And it was a newer model, impressive customer service.
