Be aware that in winter they freeze solid, so you’d be sitting on a block of ice… Or do you only ride in sunny, dry weather (sarcasm NOT intended).
I suppose those that don’t want them either have right huge backsides or have never gone more than 200 + miles in a day ?

I’ve got a big one too … (bum!!
) and I’m off to do 600 miles on Tuesday ! know that even though I have a comfy seat on my CBR600F, I’ll be wishing for an even comfier one towards the end of that run ! ![]()
I used a gel pad, slightly too small for the bike albeit, for my big Euro adventure and I thought it was rubbish, initially more comfy it’s true but it didn’t stay any more comfy than than std.
And D, mine made you sit highter as they will be thicker, and felt a bit mushy which reduced feedback and hence performance of the ol’ ass-o-meter.
Make sure you try before u buy. And Triumph do a get filled replacement seat for the 675, I presume Yamaha (the mighty Yamaha) would do one for yours? hehe
Well actually its for my girlfriend, if you’ve ever sat on an R6R pillion seat you’ll know its just like sitting on cowling!!!
I don’t really give a f*ck to be honest… Thanks Andrew, will look into it ![]()
