I think the fifth book just got released.

They’ve confirmed at least one other season, but I think the next book is going to be over two seasons. I guess there might end up being 7 or 8 seasons… if it lasts.

Maybe we should arrange some kind of screening for the final episode :slight_smile:

Reading the second book, at the moment great read just hope the TV show isn’t a let down…

Depends what you go to the TV show with in terms of expectations. You dont get the detail the books can go into. The TV show is really just a summary. Its faithful to the books, but its very very concise. Great as a visualisation of the characters and scenery though. Oh and loads of f*cking :smiley:

ERM…SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE START OF SERIES 2 BELOW I THINK

Does anyone else find themselves watching this and going “who the ****?” most of the time? They seem to just casually reference people we’ve seen once - 5 episodes ago - and we’re meant to go “oh yeah him”. As you can see, that isn’t my usual reply…

Also, it’s really confusing where everyone is. For instance, is the rightful king with the redheaded bint north of the wall, or wandering around somewhere else? And if he’s not north of the wall, who do they keep talking about that is ‘out there somewhere and we’ll find him one day’?

Also, why did the girl with the dragons lead everyone into the desert and to probably death rather than just staying where they were (which is where I assume they’ve lived for some time?
