Im in a bit of a pickle. I need someone with an old style license to drive me to Croix circuit in France in the 7.5t truck. I was supposed to be getting my C1 test but this has taken FAR too long to arrange and my other half is mechanicing for BSB that weekend.
SO! If you fancy leaving early Thursday morning, 12th June and getting the ferry across, then driving down to Lille, then spending your weekend watching the racing, please PM me your details and we can chat!
When we return is also negotiable but we are unlikely to leave the circuit before Monday 16th June.
I have space for one or two people in the truck and 2 free tickets to that weekend’s club racing. I will pay for the insurance to cover you, ferry, fuel, tolls and food while we were there. So you really just have to have the license, passport, be reliable and enjoy bike racing!
Well I can’t miss the round and opportunity to ride abroad and I’d incur the costs myself anyway, so it make sense to share the love and not stress out about trying to pass the C1 when they havent even sent me my provisional yet! Lol…
Plus I know Slarty so I know its gonna be a fun weekend now he has decided its his thing! It’s a great group of people there anyway. If it doesnt work out, then I will bump the thread with an update
Of course anyone who wants to come along on their own steam is more than welcome! I can put you up in the garage or the awning, save you bringing a tent!? Just got to get yourselves to the circuit
