hey, i found this bike whilst looking around the internet and i think it looks wicked! it is 125cc 33bhp and can top 120mph!! what more could u want from a 125!!!

Haha 120mph! good luck. I’ve just sold my Mito, their fantastic little bikes, but you gotta look after it or it could be VERY expensive. Won’t quite make make 33Bhp more like 26-28 after fully derestricted. Max speed i had out of mine was 105…won’t see much more than that without blowing it up.
It’s IMO the best 2-stroke 125. If your after speed then 2-strokes where to be. the Cagiva Mito and the Aprilia Rs125 are the quickest and most “unreliable”, then Derbi GPR125, also a 2-stroke but not as highly tuned as the Mito or RS. Then theres the Sachs XTC125 and Honda CBR125 which are mega slow, but are supposed to be more reliable because their 4-strokes. The new Hyosung Gt125R doesn’t look too bad, and its a V-twin so makes a lovely sound, but it weighs too much to be shifted well by a 125 engine. Not forgetting the SM’s, Yamaha’s DT125R is the best learner SM out there.
If your thinking of buying a Mito, get one either with as low miles as possible, or one that has just had a full engine rebuild. If its like 10,000 miles then a top end rebuild should suffice.

I knew someone who had a Aprila RS125. It wouldn’t do much more then 90 and the gearbox eventually ate itself. Lucky for him it was covered by warranty, but you get the idea. Bag of nails. Better off getting a restricted 600 or similar. The engine would be bullet proof.
