hi im new but please dont let that have an affect on your response to this - im being honest and this is nothing to do with this website. here is the problem. ive been a member of another site for a while, probably best part of a year. ive just been kicked off it because the owner of the forum doesnt like me or the way that i post.
this upsets me because they are all my friends on there, not just him, so that means i cant engage with the others, just because one person doesnt like me! ive not done anything wrong (others read the posts he disliked and cant see the problem). so now what to do!? ive signed back onto the same site but with a new pseudonym. this was suggested by one of the other guys. the thing is, ive had to sign on as a bloke for a start (because there are so few women on the site it would be too obvious to sign on as a woman) and i cant be myself on the site so i dont draw too much attention to myself.
im not suspected and only two people know who i am, but its really upsetting me. i suppose im starting to think that i will know who my friends are by who stays in touch and who doesnt.
the irony is that ive always wanted to be accepted into the biking fraternity - and now i am - for being someone else - and so much so that ive lost my identity. this isnt an attempt to gain attention, what id like to know is whether you think its wrong that ive signed back on? i know a lot of people at visordown go on and on about aliases. i wondered whether thats just VD or whether its a general thing, or do you have some sympathy with my position? what would you do? im never going to get on with the site owner and talking ive tried - he wont do it.
really good one - id rather not say. is that bad? its only one person on there that is a real idiot - its just a shame that he is the owner. i dont want to taint the others with the same brush.
Hi there, i had to read your post twice, cos first of all i couldnt quite get why the hell you are letting this get to you? If you have made mates from this or what ever other sites you use, then they will stay your mates and you can phone or text them if you are going on a rideout or want to meet with them…if not, then just get to the Ace cos you will always find someone there to talk to !
You say you dont get on with the guy who ran the site? Well no:1 he couldnt have been very professional if he kicked you off it for that reason and no:2 he couldnt have been a nice enough person to know in the first place so you lose nothing by not knowing him surely?
A forum has its rules, granted but you should also be free to express your views on certain subjects as long as you are not being abusive or threatening etc…oh unless you are abusing someone like our Terrymoto !!! (cos he likes it !!) so unless you were constantly being a pain in the perverbial, i dont understand why you were kicked off…
Anyway, forget that forum, youve just joined Londons BEST forum !! We have our fair share of nutters,perverts,loonies,and damn uglies…but …we all have one thing in common…we dont give a **** !! (ha…thought i was gonna say…“we all love our bikes” didnt cha !!!

You are only going to make yourself look sad if you try and get back on the forum, even going under another name, cos you will get sussed soon because of something you may say that is so much as you would have posted as “you” and someone will pick up on it? besides why pretend to be someone else?..nah…its their loss, way i see it …

hey thanks and i do agree and am optimistic about LB i just miss the banter and i dont see it as sad that i miss a load of mates - its like being banned from your favourite bar or pub and everyone still meets there. ive been through some difficult times with them - i had a really bad accident and some of them looked after my bike while i was in hospital - ive been on track days with them, you know the score…
i make friends easily - its not that - just i have some good mates there and miss them is all.
