Working in Chelsea for a couple of weeks,Flood St. anyway only a couple of bike bays in the area ,all have had the same bikes in them for three days,obviously belong to residents who dont ride that often,maybe weekends. So have to drive and pay the charge plus £2.40 an hour for parking.

Why not ride, no congestion charge, but pay for the parking? Half-way compromise.
edit - there are 13, yes 13 bike bays within 1/4 mile of Flood St according to The London Bike Guide.
why not park in the underground parking at chelse & westminter hospital. its free, they have special bike area so you can use a chain, cameras & its dry. left my bike in there for nearlly a week before.
just a suggestion
or make sure you park in fulham which is just round the corner and don’t pay for parking at all:D
