Speed camera directly opposite Shell garage in central reservation where M3 turns into A316 was pointing in M3 bound direction for yonks - now pointing in London direction.

Rumor has it this camera is a dummy.
Ive not been brave enough to test that rumor but to be fair I live a couple of miles up the road from it and ive never seen it flash when facing either direction.
Ive been driving/riding past if for at least the last 8-9 years now and never heard of anyone getting a ticket from that one or actually seen anyone set the flash bulb off.
Not that id advise anyone to go past it over the limit of course…
i don’t know it myself, but this would suggest it doesn’t flash as it’s part of an average speed system (always thought they had to be forward facing and therefore biker friendly though)
