There are plenty of great rides organised on this forum, if you don’t want to plan your own, you don’t need to wait for Flatout to organise one.
i’ve done a few on the forum, some were good, enjoyed it, some i didnt.
often do my own ride’s, a fw of my bike mates with bikes arent on LB:)

I happen to know Simon is doing well and indeed has been out and about on his bike and was on a ride-out last weekend in fact.
So perhaps there’ll be reappearance of said ride-outs before the winter closes in.
