You missed out Blazing Sadles!

300 very good film

Also if you want a very funny film watch Little Miss Sunshine

John, you are obviously not gay then.

To be honest I enjoyed the film, but had to switch my brain off first.

Regardless - the movie is very popular in gay circles. You may hove noticed the occasional oiled up muscular semi-naked man. As one review said -

“300 is the first Holywood blockbuster filmed in a gay nightclub”

And another -

““300″ this weekend became the first ever soft-core gay porn movie to gross over $70 million.”

But finally -

Ten Reasons 300 is gay

  1. Close-up scenes of men stroking their weapons.

  2. Every single Spartan soldier is wearing nothing but a loincloth and has a perfectly hairless, oiled chest that bulges with man-muscle boobs.

  3. Voiceover describes the battle as containing “thrusting of swords.”

  4. Enemy Xerxes walks up behind hero Leonidas, puts his hands on Leonidas shoulders, and whispers in his ear that Leonidas should “bow down” to him.

  5. Voiceover explains repeatedly that the Spartan soldiers are “hard.” Lest we forget about the hardness, we are also told that “there is no room for softness.”

  6. Very looooooong shot of Leonidas standing buck naked on a balcony at dawn, his perfectly round ass caressed by the light.

  7. Leonidas’ erect beard, which we see in close-up silhouette every time he gives a speech, is very long and sculpted and thrusty. Clearly this is included just to pull in the gay bear audience.

  8. Literally every scene includes either penetration or thrusting. Did I mention the thrusting?

  9. Only heterosexual character is a deformed, insane, Golem-like creature who betrays the Spartans just to have sex with some of Xerxes’ female slaves.

  10. Spartans kick Persian ass in a long, tight crack between two cliffs known as “the hot gates.” Their strategy is to “drive them into the crack.” That’s where the “hard” Spartans will get 'em.

guess that makes ZULU an early gay film then as loads running round in loincloths…loada ******, and what of batman all suited up, have a word with yourself ffs, aint seen 300 yet but im gonna and no im not gay either jeez some people :stuck_out_tongue:

So Julian as so see to understand this film better, does this mean you are gay.

looool

No. But I have several friends who are. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ive got friends who are gay, but thats nothing to do about the film. The reason the Spartans looked like that in the film because in the time it was suppose to be set in the people did where things like that.

So i think you are talking bowlocks.

go and sort him out wiv ya little plunger jp

And the Greeks of the time were - er - Gay! :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously, if you think the Spartans during the Persian Invasions dressed like that you are very much deluded. (or having some sort of gay fantasy!)

BTW, Greek history is something I know about and according to the archaeological evidence and contemporary writers Spartan hoplites looked like this during the period -

For some reason they are portrayed in the film wearing nothing but underpants and some straps of leather -
I don’t even think that underpants had been invented then!

They werent all gay, if they were how would the Greeks carry on breeding, you are now sounding like easyrider with the crap you are coming out with.

Get off me, why dont cha?

First of all ancient Greeks were not gay… or were the homosexual in the same way that we define it now.

What you need to understand is that only free adult men had full social status, women and male slaves were not.

The central distinction in ancient Greek sexual relations was between taking an active or insertive role, versus a passive or penetrated one. The passive role was acceptable only for inferiors, such as women, slaves, or male youths who were not yet citizens

attraction to males and homosexual relationships in the active role with one’s social inferiors was common, approved by society, and could even be regarded as a sign of masculinity. There were stories of same-sex exploits associated with Greek gods including Zeus, and other key figures in Greek myth and literature, perhaps including Achilles and Hercules

Sex between freemen, however, was problematic for status.

Oh and G is right about the attire of Spartans,
