I was riding to work yesterday when I observed a female driver cut right in front of a pickup truck causing him to have to drive on to the shoulder.

This evidently pissed the driver off enough that he hung out his window and gave her the finger.

“Man, that guy is stupid” I thought to myself. I ALWAYS smile nicely and wave in a sheepish manner whenever a female does anything to me in traffic and here’s why:

I drive 38 miles each way every day to work, that’s 76 miles. Of these, 16 each way is bumper-to-bumper; most of the bumper-to-bumper is on 8 lane highway. So if you just look at the 7 lanes I am not in, that means I pass something like one car very 40 feet per lane. That’s 7 cars every 40 feet for 32 miles. That works out to be 982 cars every mile, or 31,424 cars.

I figure I pass at least another 4000 cars on the areas not bumper-to-bumper.
That brings the number to something like 36,000 cars I pass every day.

Statistically, half of these are driven by females, that’s 18,000. In any given group of females 1 in 28 are having the worst day of their period. That’s 642.

According to Cosmopolitan, 70% describe their love life as dissatisfying or unrewarding, that’s 449. According to the National Institutes of Health, 22% of all females have seriously considered suicide or homicide, that’s 98. 34% describe men as their biggest problem, that’s 33.

According to the National Rifle Association 5% of all females carry weapons and this number is increasing.

That means that EVERY SINGLE DAY, I drive past at least one female that has a lousy love life, thinks men are her biggest problem, has seriously considered suicide or homicide, is having the worst day of her period and is armed.

No matter what she does in traffic, I wouldn’t DREAM of giving her the finger!

I think the planet would be a lot nicer without any people on it - but then there would be no one with sufficient consciousness to appreciate it. . .

Anne-Marie, there are plenty of mammals & species that manage without their females’ having periods (and of course, human females have them for only a proportion of their lives) so why do women have them?

I suppose to give them a bigger chip on their shoulder that they weren’t born a man? Ha ha.

p.s. I don’t reckon feminism is tenable if you are expecting free drinks/let off speeding tickets etc - in the 60’s and 70’s feminists who fought for the rights that women enjoy today objected to having doors opened for them/having drinks/dinner paid for them as it demeaned and disempowered them as women.

Seems to me a lot of women these days want the best of both worlds - e.g. being treated as equals/special at the same time - sorry - it doesn’t work like that.

Personally I’m totally in favour of feminism - I feel a lot more comfortable with women who don’t use their sexuality in a manipulative way. :w00t:

lol I wasn’t going to mention it but on Saturday I was going to Lakeside, a lot of traffic, everyone moving ats nail pace when I hear a BANG and I feel my car move:)

So I get out and I look to see the Blonde driver of the nice WV GTI’s bumper right in my car… but wait, I have a towing bar so I just smiled. She pulls down her window and says “Sorry, my fault, is everything OK?” I reply “Well hon I have a towing bar so I am not bothered” and I go back in the car:D

I wonder if she pulled over to look at her car… to be honest there was no damage to hers either, I really did wish there was:) I think the plate and bumper together made a good impact area. I was wondering how the hell she managed that, I think she was on the phone… so I do have a question, if I took down her number plate, position and time, could I call the police and say this driver bumped me and she was on the phone, can you plase check it out? That way she would get 3 points and a fine if they pulled her phone records???

im not saying that it is right to be on the phone while driving but i also see plenty of men on the phone while driving and eating at the same time:D:D trouble is men cant do without women and we know it:D
