fbos day

After reading this can someone send me the details of these people that do it, ive got the venue and would like to do one early part of next year, feb, march time before we all start riding.

Debz i understand you and everyone else needing a break as you all work so hard, but not ginger.:stuck_out_tongue:

would be interested in doing the course, just lack of funds stopped me doing this one, ya get sod all money as sick pay you know :crying:

Ginge is the man to talk to Andy, he did all the contacting and arranging.

It was a great day. VERY useful info. I think the crash photos in the first session must have had an effect on Emma. She was even slower than usual on the way back home

It was good to meet some of you and put names to faces. Thanks for your friendliness to us newbies, and A BIG THANK YOU TO GINGER FOR ORGANISING IT.

[I’m so surprised you weren’t there, johnp. Only £35 to have your helmet pulled off multiple times, sometimes by two women at once, must represent a huge saving over normal rates :P:D ]

+1:)

im hoping to organise one beginning of next year, we went up there this time to find out how much room was needed for this, i did have the ace in mind but now i can safely day that it wont be there,

give me a bit of time to sort a london venue and there will be one happening real soon

+2

How much space is needed?? i might be able to help with the venue in london

For a group of 13 students (2 instructors) we needed two rooms of about 15 foot by 15 foot. There’s lots of faffin on the floor cos you’re doing lots of practical stuff and with that large group we had a bigger space so that more people could be practising at the same time.

Smaller group could probably get away with less.

Don’t forget the all important provision for coffee breaks and a lunch stop

Find a pub with a large (10m by 10m at least) function room.

ive already got the venue sorted
