Just reading about the update from Oulton Park where 2 racers died yesterday in a first corner 11 bike smash.
Horrible news for all concerned - reminder how dangerous track racing can be.
Owen Jenner and Shane Richardson RIP

Saw that on the bbc. Itās horrific and such a shock.
When I was reading it my wife said āI thought this sort of thing didnāt happen any moreā.
One does get sucked in with the advances in gear and safety in believing itās a āsafeā sport. And it is, but shit does happen
Itās horrible. I canāt believe it, itās really saddened me. I was following the Rapid Honda guyās progress on YouTube with Owen Jenner. After all they went through to get to get ready for the season, and then, bam, first race weekend, they lose their star rider. I cannot begin to imagine how they and the families must be feeling, itās beyond words
Owen was only 21. How on earth does the family deal with that? What a lovely and fun kid too. He clearly had so much ahead of him.
Deepest condolences to the Jenner and Richardson families.
Tom Tunstall was also badly hurt. No word as of yet as to his condition, but it sounds bad. I hope itās not and he makes a full recovery.
The whole BSB paddock is going to be upside down over this. And to happen on the first race weekend, and after MSV got the TV rights sold so itās being shown in the US for the first time as well. What a shitter.
Read this just now about Tunstall, spinal injury but stable.
