Seriously competative - and interesting phrase - but apt!
I went past at about 6.30 - there was a crumpled Merc/BMW of the most massive type, and a compressed open top sports car that had clearly been part of some sort of sandwich. Neither looked likely to be fatal unless they had also hit a pedestrian or cyclist.
