I’m not totally fair weather but as it’s summer it would be nice to see the sun for say a day or 2, pref at the weekend and not when I’m at work!

Tell me about it! Got up nice 'n early this morning, sun was shining, sky was blue and clear so thought I’d wash the bike. Watched the weather report which said it was actually raining in London. Looked out the window and sun was still shining, sky was still blue so thought to myself pah WTF do these meterologist fuggers know anyway. I had just finished drying the bike off and waxing it up when it started to **** it down. Flaming typical.

Sod’s law - I buy my first-ever bike two weeks ago, and we have two weeks of rain. Typical.

Its a bugger ! been trying to dodge the rain this week with the new bike .
It is seriously yuk out there. Had to zip down to Kent today. Gusting sidewinds and constant - if not torrential - rain made it an interesting ride. Had to lay on the tank crossing the Medway bridge as the wind was really kicking up. Normally I’d expect to do that only on the worst winter days. Also, coming back this evening is the first time I’ve used my heated jacket since … um, April.

I got wet yesterday - very wet - very very wet. I was at work, and left my waterproof coat in my locker.

what fun it was trying to find a way to the other side of the river in a traffic jam with a 10 mile radius…
