how many times do you use the charger?? I usually do it once a week or once every 2 weeks, wondering if this might shorten the battery lifeā¦
when was last time you used bike? if was recent suggests more than the battery is fooked.
if ya got a decent battery should sit for a little while without use etc, my bike dont get used much at mo due to be working in westminster so easier to get the p0xy bus and can go to bike and starts str8 up.
depends how long you can leave the battery on the optimiser - takes a seriously long time for it to charge a battery properly (e.g. several hours on an optimiser wont even give it enough to crank the bike - learnt this the hard way)
normal battery charger might be more suitable if youāre only doing occassional charges to make sure the battery has a good charge in it/dealing with a flat
i managed to bump start it in the endā¦ first few attempts were not successful but after i let it sit for a while (30 mins) it started with the first bump startā¦ :blink:
i use it daily to go to work 40 min ride each wayā¦
well iād say you got a battery or charging problem if you use it daily shoudl charge up with out needing to use a charger/trickler.
get a volt meter on your battery, start bike up and rev, if volts go up when rev then sounds like charge is ok so check yer battery.
I ordered a replacement off fleabay at the start of the month. Not just any battery, a seller that was recommended to me by someone who used them in the past and thought they were quite good, so I thought I was safe. Still not got it. They said one had been sent, didnāt turn up. They couldnāt send another as they didnāt have that model in stock but could provide anotherā¦ inferior type IMO, funny that. replied and said no, I want the one I paid for. They still have the same model on eBay 8 available BINā¦ hmm, thatās odd if youāve not got stock available. I paid instantly, why am I still waiting four weeks later. Just emailed them again as its gone quiteā¦ Think I got stuffed
Iām getting fed up with ebay scum saying they have sent things and then making you do all the leg work.
Report them to ebay now , donāt wait. You can always retract later if it is the carriers fault.
Also report them to PayPal is you used that system.
If you did the (conditionaly) wiser thing of using your credit card direct, you should have the card companyās protection in place. Make a claim on that.
No matter what, report them to ebay.
Try riding regularly, if you start the bike while you ābang one outā it will be fresh and sparky even if you just ride round the block.
