Experience the descent at Sunrising!

We now have positive responses from a number of riders from other forums and so the rideout on Sunday 13th July is now a definite fixture. The Descent at Sunrising.

Anyone interested in in an exiting blast along a mixture of fast flowing and twisty rural roads with a couple of extreme features, including in places, breathtakingly rapid changes in elevation , should assemble at 10.00 am in the car park of the Queen Eleanor Pub in Northampton, on the A428 Newport Pagnell Road approximately 200 yards from the junction with the A45.

This is just 2 miles from J15 on the M1 & just 59 miles straight up the M1 from the Ace Cafe & therefore a 243 mile round trip. Leave Ace @ 9.00 am and you should make the Queen Eleanor by 10.00 easily!

The weather forecast is dry with sunny intervals.

The distance we will cover will be c. 125 miles and we shall be stopping in a picturesque market town for lunch.

The ride will be conducted at a brisk, but socially responsible pace and we will practice the ‘drop off’ method to ensure that no-one gets lost.

We should be back in Northampton c. 2.00 pm and you should be back at Ace by 3.00.
