As you may gather this is my first post! I would appreciate if anyone could tell me what the kawasaki is like. I require it for a short commute through 30-50mph roads with a pillion. I am around 5,11.
If you’re 5 foot 11 I think you are going to find the ER6-N very small and, in my humble, it’s not a very good looking bike.
My wife looked at them (she’s 5 foot 7) and it looked too small for her. (She also thought is was ugly). (No doubt I’ve upset some proud ER6-N LB’er?)
I’m guessing the price attracted you?

No No, the price didn’t attract me im in my early 50’s, i just liked the styling of the bike, its personal choice . Im interested in the Ninja 600 or 636 but my back won’t take the strain. Can anyone recommend a middleweight bike similar to the ER6

Judging by your name, I’m guessing you like Honda’s? How about the CBR600F or CBF600S?
Thanks for the posts, i generally like suzuki but the GS500F does nothing for me. I have considered Honda’s but i think they are generally more expensive then a kawasaki, is the extra expense justified
I’ve got an 07 Hornet, tis quite fun and the old ones are supposed to be just as good 
The CBR 600F is supposerd to be quite a balanced bike, my little brother has one and loves it (when he’s stayed on it 
)
I rode an ER6N when I was taking my DAS, it was quite a nice bike to ride, I do prefer the Hornet over it both ride and stye wise.
