Epsom Parking

anyone know what the situation is with parking in Epsom?
where can we cant we park?
@Jay @Serrisan

Been too long since I’ve been in Epsom (left in 2012) so not a clue anymore. Back then I also used to stick it cheekily on the pavements from time to time. Where are you trying to get to in Epsom?

I’m sure the multi-storey car park in the centre (ashley centre) was ok to use*, you just had to ride round the barriers. But that may have changed since I was there

*(I have a vivid memory of riding out with Maya in shorts after a coffee, only to meet a downpour that drenched us in 2secs)

Just in Epsom in general,
Found the Ashley center and a bike bay outside the town Hall

The other place Maya reminded me is this.

We used to park here as it was next to my work

I think there are a couple of bike bays in the car park up the hill past the Odeon cinema too.

Thinking about it, the Ebbisham centre car park has no barrier and you pay at the machine before you leave based on the ANPR camera that reads your front plate as you enter so possibly may be free for bikes either by accident or design.

I never thought I’d say this to you @Panagiotis but… did you try google? :stuck_out_tongue:

  • Ashley Centre Multi-Storey - Ashley Avenue, Epsom, KT18 5AL

Twelve parent and child bays are located on Level 4 plus some wider bays for general use. Electric vehicle charge points are located on Level 3C. Spaces are also available for motorcycles and bicycles

Town Hall (rear), Dulshott Green, Epsom, KT17 4NY
Monday to Sunday, 24 hours, 85 spaces - including nine designated for use with a blue badge and six parent & child bays. This car park also contains two rapid electric vehicle charge points. Spaces available for motorcycles and bicycles

Upper High Street - Epsom, KT17 4DU

Two bays are available for motorcycle parking

Bourne Hall - Spring Street, Ewell, KT17 1UF
Monday to Sunday, 24 hours, 100 spaces - including five designated for use with a blue badge
Spaces available for motorcycles and bicycles

From this page it looks like Depot Road car park doesn’t have any dedicated spaces for bikes (and google satellite view doesn’t show any), but I am 100% sure now we used to park there. Must have been a ‘non car space’ we stuck it in…

I think upper street and Depot Rd car parks are pretty much one car park so maybe the bike bays are in the upper street bit?

Ah yeah, that makes sense…

i did but its always best to have confirmation by actual experience

I’ll remember that… next time someone asks me to check the numbers SPSS calculated, I’ll crack out my abacus :stuck_out_tongue:

prob is you are still using SPSS

I’m not even using that. I use Q most times with a bit of excel. I also sometimes use a notepad and pen

Oh wait… We’ve gone way off topic.
