Thank you Chris. At the moment my phone rings over 30 times a day, every day, including Sundays. If I’d answered them , nothing would have got done.
I simply need details of the problem, preferably by text so that I have a written record of the problem to refer to. After that I’m really best left alone to focus on the problem. At the point of diagnosis I will always text with a summary of the issues, the proposed solution, a time frame for the repair, and an estimate of parts costs if required. The customer will then receive a text confirming the work has been completed.
