Engine mangement

hey guys and gals.

ive decided i want to study the old motorbike engine mangement courses in this comming year. and i was wonderign if anyone knew were the best place to do such a thing. i have had a look at barnfield and they dont do the course im after and ive decided to email some coleges and business to see if they can give me some help and ive got nothing back from them :@

ive ran out of places that i thought of that could do it, ive looked on the net and found nothing. i live in hertfordshire and dont mind if i have to travel and bit but not huge if mileage.

anyone know of anyone or something about this industry.

gina said about barnfield but i cannot find anything.

cheers guys.

I tend to leave engine management to the Motronic unit on my bike. Is it possible to do a course in it? Wow, I could increase my bike’s power output if I knew how to map the ignition and fuel injection myself. Do you need your own calculator or would my dad’s old circular slide rule do the job?

Seriously though, don’t Merton College run a bike tech course?

If you drop ‘Motorcycle’ from your google query and just tpye in ‘Engine management courses’ you may have more luck. Would have thought that skills were transfereable from car to bike?
