Hi guysI hope you’ll excuse my first post sounding like a sales pitch! I really don’t mean it to sound that way.
Since being a kid I’ve had a passion for cars and now at the ripe old age of 54 I’ve not changed! Two years ago I bought my most radical car to date - an Ariel Atom. I can’t even use the excuse of mid life crisis as I’m well passed that.
Anyway, about the same time my partner and I started producing embroidered clothing for the Ariel Atom Owner’s Club and it proved to be quite a hit with the members. It also provided a good income stream for the club too.
Since then, I’ve also produced designs for other clubs and circuits. I love doing it as it’s an extension of my passion for cars.
Now I’m not sure if the LondonBikers forum has a logo or any merchandice, or indeed whether there’s a need for such stuff?
Just to give you a taster, here’s a few of the designs I’ve produced recently.
If you think I can help in anyway, please do let me know.
I sincerely hope I haven’t caused any annoyance to anyone by posting this message, if so, please delete it.
Regards
John & Angie
Forgot to mention, this is a hobby just now as we both work full time though I’d love my partner Angie to give up her crappy job at M&S on slave wages to do this full time. I meanwhile work for the police - yikes!!
Just to clarify, I didn’t want this post to be an advert as it’s a bit unfair using a forum to do that.
The main reason for posting was to establish whether the forum has a supply source for Forum/Bike related clothing. If not, I’d be only to pleased to create some patterns and post them up here.
I can produce from any image - the better the quality image, the better the pattern and I can produce items as one offs or small runs.
Maybe a mod or site owner can tell me the ad rates if that’s acceptable.
How are you mate, we where hoping for someone like your self to come along , Myself and others have plenty of work for you to do … will this mean you will give up your police work :D… I’ll send you a pm
How are you mate , My name is Clint I am one of the owners and founder of City Bikers Crew, we have all art work on disk that we need a few good quotes from with our logo’s ect and we prefer the Embroidery than the Vinyls , if prices are agreeable in future , i can give you plenty of work in the future and recommend you to others but at the moment i have a whole forum waiting for me to sort this embroidery once and for all ,
I have the art work here some is outlined too , i do like the way you can mix the colours but we do have an easier logo to do in one colour like silver reflecta etc…
Yes, the Atom is an awesome machine. Some buy them to race, I just enjoy :)I’ve been messing with the logo and came up with the following:
The words londonbikers.com is made up of letters each 5mm in height. This is the smallest acceptable font one can use in embroidery. The total length of the pattern is just over 10cms which is about the widest one can use on the left breast of a shirt. Based on these dimensions it makes it impossible to create the other text within the flag as it would be so small and just wouldn’t work.
