DUNSTABLE DOWNS - Sunday 5th July

Ok, here’s the next date for your diary from the Downs in Dunstable…and this time it’s on a Sunday, for all of those unfortunate souls who have to work Saturdays.

As always, meet in the usual car park at 10am with a full tank and tread on your tyres.lol Check the map link below if you don’t know where this is.

The route will be a previously popular one going along the B656 from Welwyn to Hitchin, A600 to Bedford, and the A6 towards Rushden in Northants, with our lunch destination being a nice little pub in Olney. The return trip will loop around Bedford to eventually take us back down the A600 in the reverse direction. Expect lots of fast twisty roads.

Right, I’m off to pray to Ra to prevent it raining like it did on the last one! :stuck_out_tongue:

Didnt take long mate, you must be having a slow day at the office.

Im in fella as long as I get out of church in time.:stuck_out_tongue:

See how we go - might need to do the BCR first

Boo you

You can do that any Sunday:P

Whey hey!!! I can go again …but poor old Lyssa will have to miss out again !!New York last time and Tenerefe this time , she has such a hard life!!!

May I make a suggestion, sorry Ride4fun, BUT it would be soooo nice to sit in the VISITORS CENTER sipping a warm coffee, waiting for you and then using the hand dryers to dry my hands in the nice warm toilets… i know it sounds like hell… but???

SPG

:rolleyes::unsure:

Steve, there is a local old peoples home you could wait in where we could collect you from if you wish.

They have warm tea and blankets to keep you all cosy and even a stair lift so you could reach the seat of your bike without your stool.

The smell of stale wee and lavender is a little offputting but I am sure you’ll fit in.:D:P

I’m sure you can get to the Downs from Finchingfield in time…would be just a speedy cruise for you.

Oi bugger orf talking about my house like that !!! :D:D:D

Sir Slim,

SPG

PS be great to see you after Church on the 5th

Sorry fella did not realize it was a secret!!!.:stuck_out_tongue:

Well it WAS !!!

SPG :Whistling:

I might get there, but it’s not overly likely.

My Brother’s either got his CBT that day or the Monday (I think the Monday), and so I’ll likely either be picking him up off Tesco’s car park that day or taking him out for a ride.

Presuming I’ve got the SR fixed in time.

I’m out also. will be doing churchy things also til about 1

KTM… (hopefully)!

I think you should bring the ZX-10R…especially if it’s dry. :hehe:

If??? If???

It’s English summer time…oh yeah;)

Now theres a thought, I should have the 675 on the road by then and Finchingfield is not that far from me and I’ve not done a BCR yet…a plan could be forming.

Exactly! :stuck_out_tongue:

You better tie a rope to Gabs so you can keep up. :hehe:

You and bondage:D
