Dunlop 207 GP's

Can anybody give me info / feedback on these tyres. How do they compare to 207’s,207RR’s, and other brands.

cheers

Depends on the bike you are putting them on and what use you are going to put them through. They are not as good as 208’s. personally I am not a Dunlop man although I did used to run the 207 on my 7R a few years back. I never had an issue with them but the 207RR was difeniately much grippier.

You can get them dirt cheap now, I guess thats why you are asking…

207RR’s have a more V shaped profile than 207’s, basically very little rubber down when in a straight line, making the bike a little wobblier than normal, but shedloads of grip when you lean it over. They are not as quick to warm up as Pirelli DCs or Bridestones and give the odd brown trouser moment in damp/wet conditions, but I really liked them on my 98 Blade and ran several pairs, preferring the RR version for fast road/track use.

Cheers

Thats what I was thinking - dry summer / track use. Is the GP a stickier version of the RR?

As a matter of interest, what size tyres are you after?
