That’s exactly what Steve Plater said to me when I went to apologise for causing a red flag.
I probably didnt look all that impressed as he quickly followed it by saying that race control had announced on the radio that they had jinxed me having just exclaimed that there was an Asian lady going quite well.
I probably didn’t look too impressed by that either… I mean how old are ladies???
Sounds as though you’ll be lucky and nothing will come of this Claire.

This is true, it was only a little bump up the pavement but still I know it is wrong…
I couldn’t believe though how many riders were going around the large traffic island, still no justification I know.
