Only need a new wing mirror for mine but the car was hardly damaged. He reckoned it was until I wiped my finger on the marks and they started to come off!! He reckoned I took a piece about a centimetre wide out of the alloy but I’m not so sure that was me, then he wanted to take pictures of the damage on my bike which was already there before!! (BMW)
I think I was lucky it was an olympic car as had it been somebodys merc or something they could’ve been really unforgiving!
It was quite funny as I was sitting in stationary traffic not able to go anywhere but another biker nipped round through the traffic and as he did it I thought well I reckon I’ll get through too!! So as I went round to follow his line beside another car there wasnt enough space. So I thought I’ll just bump it up the kerb though as I turned the bars to go back down (fatal) I leant too far and down I went in a slow motion action cam kind of way!!
Hopefully they decide not to take it further through the insurance…

Hope the arse holes don’t take it any further, think them drivers are just volunteers, so probably trying to cover it’s arse, after kerbing the alloy! But that damage is clearly not linked!

yea from what i have been told from someone who drives one lol is that bmw has given 40 thousand of them to the Olympics to use and that there going to be sold of cheaper once its over

That is true!! The guy driving was a volunteer and it was his first day! He had the insurance company call him right back whilst I was there though hope when the car arrived back that day they’d have realised there was no damage to be repaired, just a polish for the marks but we’ll see. He was covering his own arse I think more than anything.
