Donnington -- advice please

I am taking my 7 year-old boy to see the Moto GP at Donnington. It’s years since I’ve been (God knows how long).

Is it worth booking the grandstand seats (either Redgate or start-finish) or will the little-un be able to see if we wander around and find a place to peer through the fence?

The worst would be going all that way, paying all that money and him not being able to see. Specially as it means I’ll have to go by friggin’ car.

Second question: should I take him ont bike? It is legal because he can reach the foot pegs but I ride a Falco and, believe me, the comfort is a bit lacking - not that I care.:stuck_out_tongue:

I’d take the car with the little un’ if you live a distance although be car park smart about where you park. i.e last in first out and all that cos it can be a nightmare. But if your not to far and he fancies a ride its pretty well policed and easy access.

Plud I’d skip on the grandstand seats. There’s a man made mound on the start finnish which allows a view of most of the track plus gives you quick access to the merchandise and you get a better atmosphere. Best buy is £10 canvas seats with beer can holder, (Ribina for the little un’ Or Rain dependant on the grass down holywood straight.

Hope this helps???

Many thanks!

What a drag – going in the car.:crying:
