Does anyone know any good builders?

Well… does anyone?

Depends what work you want done.

Kitchen and bathroom

Possibly - guy that did mine. But I measured up and ordered everything myself. He just fitted the bits and then I did the tiling/finishing. Oh and he is not Corgi registered but my ex did the gas work for me. Depends whether you want someone to do everything and leave it looking perfect or whether you want to do some of the work.

Sounds interesting. Pm sent.

Isn’t “good” and “builders” in the same sentence an oxymoron?

You might try these guys:

Libra Construction Services,
Can’t remember the road, possibly Woodside Road,
Sidcup,
Kent DA? ???

Speak to Richard Green.

Complete chaos, but they get there, somehow, at the right price (argue gently about the first offer) and sometimes on time (ish). Don’t expect perfection, they’re just decent and do look after post construction defects (if any) o.k.

I’ll check with a friend, same trade, to see how he is getting on with his Poles later this week.

For f***'s sake, don’t tell them what you do for a living.

Myself and a colleague partake in kitchen and bathrooom fitting, we can also supply a Howdens kitchen at very good prices, pm me if interested and maybe we can meet to discuss.

Forgive me if I’m wrong, but aren’t you wanting a shell to put these bits into?

there are good Polish builders, also pretty good chinese builders, if you can speak Fukianese:D

Yep that’s what I intended to do originally but due to cut backs I’ve downgraded to a refurb

bobski the builder?

There’s a link at the bottom of my signature for my m8s company, CMD. You can ask him and I know he’ll keep the costs down for ya.

why do you need a builder ?

I think you need a “Fitter”… “ie” (fit) a new bathroom and kitchen !!!

Not unless you have half a house ??

you hum it son and i,ll play it !!

Hey Lessismore
I got a Howdens kitchen from my builder at zero percent mark up
Really good quality and brill prices when you take about 50% (:w00t:) off their list prices! (Might have been 40 or 60%, I really cant remember now)
I would recommend Howdens - dont get the black gloss worktop though because when, splashes of water dry on it, it looks drity and then you have to wipe it which is a hassle if you only want to clean once a month!
I contacted the joiner that did my kitchen and he is too busy at the moment. Sorry.
