Just wondered how many people used VPN and what software they used for it?
I know that MS XP has it already builtin but I was to use it to connect to my server when I am out and about.
Any advice is appreciated.

I use the Cisco VPN client, works wel enoughl but you need a Cisco device for it to talk to, PIX, router or a concentrator etc. Never used a VPN to a server but I wouldn’t trust it, not because MS are weak but because there are so many people trying to hack MS.
No point asking me, i`m computer daft.
Used to use Symantec PC Anywhere which worked really well for me on a Windows 2000 Advanced Server box a few years back.
