Do Renthal bars come with bar ends?

if not will any bar ends fit renthal bars?

Mine didn’t Pan.

As the wall section of the bars is thicker than steel you will need a smaller diameter bar end fitment.

would only renthals ones fit or can you get other ones that fit?

i didnt use renthal ones :D,…also if you want the cross bar thats useually extra too !!!

I bought some that were Rental Bar Specific. They have a smaller diameter where they go inside the bars

well when you tighten the allen key up the splayed nut opens,so grips the inside of the bars…please excuse the spelling :D…

o and if your thinkin its just a case of standard bars off renthals on,it aint as you have to drill the holes for the throtle body locatin pin!!!

So how do you get the standard bar ends in a hole thats clearly much smaller diameter than standard bars due to Renthals being a thicker wall section?:w00t:

i will be getting them used (off a hornet) so all holes are drilled - only snag is that the guy doesnt have the bar ends - so looking for an idea of how much he should drop the price

well your first question should be what type of renthals are you tryin to fit ???..theres…7/8…fatbar…and twin wall…as ive allways fitted the twin wall i never had a problem with fitting bar ends,as for the standard bar ends i wouldn’t no as i never said i fitted these did i!!!

you dont need renthal specific 1s just 1s to fit ally bars, a lot of bar ends come with 2 fixings anyway.

you get bar ends for steel bars or ally bars.

I didn’t say you NEED Renthal Specific, I just said it’s what i bought;)The original question was “Would ANY bar ends fit?” and the answer is still NO as you need a smaller diameter than stock to fit the smaller ID of alloy bars:P

well i sugjest mr chunks you take a look on fleebay and look at the bayonet splay type i was talkin about on my first thread and youll find they fit any 22mm bars including renthal…any type:D

The question asked was “Do ALL bar ends fit Renthal Bars?”

Tha answer my friend is still a very big NO:D

Let me explain why this is so in simple speak so that even you might understand it.

Firstly, standard steel bars usually have an internal diameter of around 19mm and therefore a standard type bar end has a pushy-in bit around 19mm in diameter.

Now the clever bit, Renthal type bars have a thicker wall section and therefor a smaller inside bore diameter of around 13-15mm therefore a 19mm diameter pushy-in bit won’t fit.

Now, I did as you suggested and looked on Fleebay and guess what I found?

These bar ends have 13mm pushy-in bits specially for “BAR ENDS TO FIT 13MM STREETFIGHTER BARS” :smiley:

These have a 19mm pushy-in bit which I doubt very much will squeeze into a 13-15mm bore Renthal Bar.

Thus proving once and hopefully, finally that not all bar ends are the same and they DO NOT all fit Renthal Bars.:wink:
