Decisions decisions decisions

Well, now the GF has passed her DAS we’re hotly debating what to do.

She’s going to try my Bandit tomorrow to see what she thinks but she’s also thinking of an SV650 or a Kawasaki ER 6N, she’s tall so no problem with reach.

What do you reckon would be good for her? She wants something easy to handle but is cool and not too like the typical girls bike.

A CBR600 F … oh and look at that, I’ll be selling one in the next couple of weeks !!:hehe:

I wonder what ASBO would recommend…?

I have to agree with Trojan got for the Honda CBR600F. SV650’s and ER6’s are a typical girls bikes.

My first bike was a hornet but it wasnt long before I was regretting the lack of fairing … CBR all the way!

are they? more like typical 1st big bikes, seen enough girls on CBR600’s to confirm that they too are great learner tools, not just girls bikes:)

CBR600 dont have there own race series either…niether do ER’s…

SV’s rock! seriously get a test ride on an SV and a CBR, see what engine she prefers:)

Must agree with Sherrie most SV riders do ride like girlies

MZ250s have their own race series too… hardly a recommendation

Get her to test ride the SV and she’ll soon see that it’s a proper limp-wristed girly bike :D:D

Thundercats are excellent bikes - and I think a nicer ride than the CBR.

but i didnt say CBR’s were crap!

some are not far away from no licience…might be why;)

+1

I do love my SV, but i wished i looked around a bit more and tried a few more bikes…They are a great first bike…but i think that all they are.

If i get my 2nd pay rise in march… i might just find something else:w00t:

Husky SM510R:D

yeh whats all that about:D

2000-05 Yamaha R6 definitely not a ‘girls bike’.

The sensible options would be a Thundercat or CBR 600F though

Why mess about? Just get the R1:D

nah its a girls bike:D

Well, she bought an ER6 N in the end and loves it. Only 3000 something on the clock and mint for under 3k.

Colour scheme not too girlie and not butch so she’s happy.

I’ve taken it for a spin and handles nicely and stops well, to be honest it makes my Bandit 6 feel pretty poor in this respect. Think I need to change fast. I’d been thinking of a Bandit 12 but now I’m really not sure.
