A fuse can just go, but 30A ones are pretty beefy.
When I first saw this thread - before any responses had been posted - the first thing I thought was “it’s the master fuse” and started typing then thought better of it as I was worried it seemed too obvious, an almost insulting thing to suggest, given that that would surely be the very first thing that Green Flag would have checked.
The fact that they didn’t even check that, beggars belief :w00t:
30a fuse caught me out once…
Never again!
Glad to know you got it fixed up mate… Well done Pan the man
Been meaning to say. Got a very apologetic call from Green Flag the other week, after I sent them a stern letter. They said of course I would get the £10 that come with failure to be out within the hour and also a further £20 for the subsequent 2 hours.
So not too bad a result in the end. Still won’t renwing my sub though.
Hi Manny…
Had this happen three times on my VFR before I discovered I had a faulty regulator/rectifier…
Replaced that and all has been good since…
What are the symptons of those? Trouble starting when cold? Dash lights dim when brake light or indicator is on? I am a bit suspicious of my bike’s electrics tbh.
