Well this will most likely be my last report for a while…
Last nite with the snake man was good but kinda scary. He brought in a few poisonous snakes and 2 that aren’t. One of the none venomous snakes i wanted to keep and take out with me :hehe: Cant remember what it is called but it has a black tail and it eats most things including other snakes. It is immune to their poisons so i want it for protection, lol. The most venomous snake they have out in the jungle here is also the most common snake in the area we are going to be :w00t: oh the joys.
Oh and i have got a pic of me holding the snake i wanted to keep
:hehe:
Everyday seems to get hotter and hotter out here, just dont seem to be getting used to it. It is suposed to be cooler under the canopy of the jungle, dont think it would be the heat on my mind out there though.
Had to teach the guys on the course, who are all Dutch and Norweigen, about the tracker dogs and IP(infantry patrol) dogs today. Did a demo to show them how good the dogs work, low and behold the dog Chris who the other handler out here works decided he didnt wana play ball today. Did okay but messed around in the middle of the track before finaly deciding he would go find the BDF(Belizian Defence Force) guys who layed the track. Hopefully the dogs will shine out in the jungle and they will all see just how good an asset they are, but it is a whole new enviroment and so much going on out there to distract them… not that im making excuses ofcourse ;):hehe:
We are deploying out tomorrow morning so my next report wont be for a while i hope, cause if its soon it proberbly means either me or the Dog are layed up in hospital :w00t::hehe:
This is ASBO signing out
