Hi All,

I’m Stuck!

Here’s the problem.

I have a Datatool III which will not disarm, when I press the button on the pod nothing happens.

I tried replaceing the battery in the pod still nothing.

Clue; when you put the key in and set the alarm off (after its finished shredding your inner eardrum, and pissing off our four legged friends for miles around) it does not reset ie it does not beep but the red light still flashs.

I have tried bump starting it but this does not seem to work, although the first time this happened a couple of days ago, after trying to bump start it, the pod seem to work and it started and I got home today however today no such luck!

Anyone know what to do?

Also do you the name of the guy on here who fits Datatool and Tracker? (I met him at at Ali’s funeral)

My Datatool 111 sometimes ignores my transmitters as well which iritates the **** out of me !

I carry both transmitters now and usually one will work, I thought it was the transmitter batteries as well but some days one will work and other days the other will work !!

Some days I’ll spend 10 minutes pressing both in turn before one will work !!

Really regret getting the thing fitted.

try using the spare transmitter! i’m sure it says somewhere to swap between the two every six months or so!

Charly is the man to speak to Vinnie! I could only guess at things, like dead bike battery, or blown fuse!

have you tried using your pin override mate?

and fully agree on the worthless pieces of crap. wish i’d never had mine fitted either

if you have two buttons on the remtoe push and hold them in range of the bike for five seconds or so
