DAS - First day tmrw!!!

Not sure on test location yet, finding out tmrw, but either Hendon or Chingford - been told Chingford quite nice, country lanes, nice wide residential roads etc. etc. but we’ll see! Hope its not a nice sunny day on Friday, soo used to the rain now

Good luck, dont let the nerves get to you and you will be fine

Keep us posted

It’s tough work Dudette, I still remember it as though it was yesterday. Good luck swimming around this week – you’ll be an expert at wet riding!

Don’t know about t-shirt under jacket, think my swimsuit would be more suitable

Oh well, off now for another ‘damp’ day grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :ermm:

Good luck dude! I did mine last week (with no minors), so if I can do it anybody can. Being on a 500 feels real strange compared to the 125’s…wonder how I feel went from 125, to 500 then to 900 all in one weekend!!

Just wondering where I can go next in my bike choices? 1300? then where?

All this wet riding will stand you in good stead if the forecast is right and we end up with a dry day on Friday for your test.

HI

Good luck. I had rain all through my training but my test day was brilliant sunshine. I felt so relaxed and confident on the day, I just went out to enjoy the ride and I think it showed.

You’ll be fine, keep us posted

Sarah x

As everyone says, ‘you’ll be fine’. Show the examiner you’re confident before you go out (even if youre not!!), and he wont be looking for a nervous wreck on the roads.

I did my test at Hendon, and it was cool. much better than having to look for the changes in speed signs in the countryside. You dont have to filter, in fact its better if you dont… run the clock down! ha ha

I’ve just bought a place 1min from Cockfosters station, so if you fancy some rideouts when you pass, let me know.

chingford?

Reminds how badly I blew the confidence thing by not paying full attention to the very first question the examiner asked (the eyesight test) and hearing “I’m worried that you can’t tell the difference between a Jaguar and a Mercedes” in response. All went smoothly after that but it was a shaky start!

Good luck

yea good luck mate

OK…DAS tmrw morning, test at 9.30 and have the bad back from hell! Did something to it last week and it has gradually got worse over the last few days, not helped by riding around for 4hrs a day in the pouring bl**dy rain

Will be dosing myself up tmrw with the painkillers, will try to avoid the ‘glazed eye’ look though

Hoping all goes well and the foot doesn’t come down on the U-turn :w00t:

Good luck tomorrow hope you get a break in the weather.

Good luck!

i did my test in chingford, tis a good test route and the examiners are all nice guys

Good Luck tomorrow…

All the best !!!
Did both my tests in Chingford (and passed first time on both) roads ain’t bad.

Best advice I can give is to relax.

You’ll be fine. It’s just another training ride.

You’ve had all the advice. Just go do it and enjoy it.

(It’s got to be better than a day at work.)

You’re probably already heading on your way over there but, through the medication, I hope you manage to get through!

At least the sun is shining.
