Hopefully, by this time next week I will have my full bike licence and can spend the bank holiday weekend out an about with hubbie…not looking at the back of his ‘helmet’ anymore! Fingers crossed the weather doesn’t totally hammer it down all next week, although that is forecast! If you come across an ‘L’ plate around the Cockfosters area be nice an give us a wave…although cant guarantee to wave back, may fall off

But I didn’t come off, I avoided all manhole covers and had an absolute blast! Told I’d done really well and was going straight out on the 500 tmrw… guess thats a good sign!

I’m using Fast Track - based out of 1stLine Motorcyles, the Honda dealers round the corner from Arnos Grove tube. Not sure if its the norm, but I’ve been told I wil be having 1:1 training this week - thought it was normally 2:1 but hey, not complaing if I’m getting all the attention

Day Two - Got wet AGAIN but out on the 500 - jesus what a difference! How can people ride 125s, my 7yr old niece could run faster

I was very lucky when I did mine last August.
I did it in Glasgow as my girlfriend lives there.
It was steaming hot all week and peeing down with rain in London all week.

When I was doing my training I used to ‘get stuck at the lights’ and then have to ‘open it up’ to catch up. I told my instructor it was the best 3 days I had had in ages and he told me I should get out more! 'suppose you get blazee if you ride all day everyday.
Still when I did my test I thought it was easier than the driving test ( didn’t pass that one first time, but passed DAS 1st go ). One road I wasn’t even sure what the speed limit was so proceeded to ride at between 30 and 40 and was sure I would get a fail but wasn’t even mentioned. I think if you look confident and don’t do anything stupid you have a veyr good chance to get your license.
