As some of you already no i have been trying to get my bike on the road and registerd before the 6th so i can come an meet you lot but i have had problems with getting my shock and break well yesterday they finaly come and this puts me on track to getting on the road for the 6th all i needed was my insurance documents to come in the post and then i could take the registration documents down chelmsford and after 72hours go and get my doc’s back and have my plate made up (thus putting me on the raod for monday) well…
The bloody post people decide to have another strike and put me a day behind THANKS A BUNCH U MOANY TO**ERS IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB QUIT DONT RUNIN MY FUN INSTED!!!
It’s even worse when you’re relying on Bennetts to send a cover note too . . . the first two have had the wrong registration number on them and they take a week to arrive. I’ve had a new bike sitting at the shop for two weeks now, I’ve got all the kit, paid the money, bought the insurance . . . . but can’t ride it ! F*ckwits.
I deleted my rant about Bennetts and Zenith a while ago but I might put it back, see how this afternoon goes.
Dealer needs cover note to get plate from DVLA and buy tax. All it needs to be is a 3rd party only cover note, as soon as he gets the reg plate then I change the insurance to that from the vin so I’ll never be riding on the vin, just the reg.
What’s this on eBay ? Never seen insurance on there ?
nonono i have the bike its in my house all ready to ride and i have al the v1 so on so on ect forms filled out but to stop people rideing without insurance (this has only recently happed) you have to insure the bike off the chasie number and add the insurance documents to a pile of ever growing documents to drive all the way up chelmsford and hand in just so i can get another bloody documents with my plate numbers on so i can then go to halfords and have a plate made up GRRRRR not happy im likeing the illigal plate tho i no just the person to make me one aswell hehehe AND get this i have to run it in for 1000km 500km at 22mph!!! and 500 at 30mph!!! Insurance wise mine (ebike) faxed a copy of my cover note to the dealer and they were happy with that - though apparently that’s not the norm!! ( I think they have a friend at the post office )
I know what you mean about the strike though - I bought a new l/h front brake calliper from ebay on the weekend - due to arrive today - stuck now somewhere in a sorting bloody office rather than on my bike - which I can’t ride until I get it… poo
OIT PUSH BIKE1!! no its one of those elcetrical bikes llol well actualty its a bit worse then that its an import dirt bike barely made road legal eeek when i say bearly i mean its got lights a horn and a number plate bracket loool just bolted on and there crome dosnt even match the carbon fiber bike lol its ok iv been ebaying and my new 1s r comeing u should see the windmirrors tho there almost as big as the bike being crom aswell im sure the reflections could cause a crash,
