Heya i am thinking about getting my first bike as im normally a pillionpassenger.
Im quite short im like 5’4 or 5’5 and i can only ride a 125cc as im a learner.
I was wondering what bike should i buy i was thinking a dirtbike but my mate said my feet wouldnt touch the floor because im so short.
But do you think my feet would touch the floor if i got a Yamaha yzf 125cc.

Personally i wudnt buy a 125 that looks like a sports bike, it breaks my heart… but thats just me 
Go for the offroader they are better!
I would suggest you get a Honda CM 125 or something similar in design to that, they tend to be lower to the floor in seat height and also have a riding style that is more sedate which I always think is good for a person getting their first bike.I wouldn’t suggest the YZF personally, though I do think it looks great, as a first bike I don’t think it is the best plan. Oh and welcome to the forum.

Hi and welcome - I’m relatively new too.
There’s some pretty nice 125’s, but like you, I hate not being close to the ground when I put my feet down.
If you’re looking for a sports style bike, try a Honda CBR 125. They’re quite nice, small, but quick and sporty (I had a go on a mate’s earlier)
I, on the other hand, chose a more elegant, relaxed and MUCH BETTER route and went for my lovely 125 cruiser, a Yamaha Dragstar, looks like this (that’s not my one - that’s just a pic off the net)
