My advise and I think I have some authority here cos I have actually sourced and replaced the bits on one of these bikes… it is completely and utterly fecked… walk away. Even without all the cosmetic stuff, new front end, quite probably bent frame from the way the can has been crushed there is a dirty great hole in the engine, no telling what damage that has done to the internals.
looking at it closer… ITS COMPLETELY FEEEEEEEEEEEEEKED!
dealing with breakers, beware! I’ve had crap from them in the past. They could not give a toss as long as they get their brass. Save your pennies and get a proper bike.
as chuffster says i wouldnt touch it mate, and bike that has had a significant smash like that would start ringing alarm bells with me, and its also the costs involved too. Best to shop around and maybe get yourself something slightly older but in good condition.
i done the exact same thing to my k5600, anniversary one mine was, will try find pic, broken my knee cap in 16 pieces, when i done mine, 2 operations, and a bone graph, leg still not right
i sold mine bak to bike shop for 2,000euro, he wrote it off for me, said it was gone then went and sold it to some one who is putting back on road, c#nt, dont mind though as ill get money for it anyway off insurance as it wasnt my fault.
i have only one lid my nitro one and that has been dropped twice and crashed with twice, hardly road legal, but im saving up for the jet bkack agv stealth helmet,
