I just got back from USA (Lincoln,NE) yesterday!
had a **** time (apart from work related) as the hotel was the worst ever… it was like staying in a dorm room. no room service, no restaurant, no cleaning service, no fresh towels no nothing!
they had a room (cupboard) where you could “shop” for stuff to eat and then take to your room to cook!!
WTF!
Im so glad to be back!

When I went to france you should have seen the sh!te whole I was in… exposed wires on the floor, only 1 bulb worked and did not arrive until the night time, smelt like a pub in the room, and a public toilet in… well the toilet… i soon got outta there…
Last time I went to New York I got attacked by bed bugs! I had bites all over me - all on my face, everywhere it was horrible!
well compaired to those it was great,
but when considering that it was a room paied for by work, and that the previous (Embassy suites) one they had me staying (last ear) had full continental breakfast, room service, two room (each with its own tv) and basically was as big as a one bedroom flat here…
need i say more 
i had that in france 2!! and it was the wee in the hole job to!!!
it gave me the creeps being there!!
