As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, this is very similar to Kenny Irons’ accident at Cadwell in 1988, which I saw on telly as it happened… that horrible and sudden certainty of feeling that a life has just been ended. Ach, saw a recording of the race earlier today by chance - poor bloke, poor bloke, I just wanted to rush out there and help him.

Poor lad, so young and talented. It seems to be the way of things. The great ones get taken from us young. I was watching at the time, saw the highside but it was over in a fraction of a second and didn’t really get much of an impression of the seriousness. I thought he’d pull through. It was a horrible race from start to finish. Racing in those conditions… terrible.
Extremely sad news! very upset to hear about it.
Was hoping he would of pulled through.

i was speaking to a st johns lady tonight who was there , it was a lot worse than we saw …
as far as i could gather he went very quickly please god …i know it may sound hard , but hopfully he didn’t suffer

although the cold hearted have it all over UTUBEwell i can’t belive that , they showed it as if nothing had happened … i was enjoying watching Craig at his best untill then …
