This is awful. The accident was gut-wrenching to watch. I have never seen a crash like that and never want to again.
A huge thanks has to go to FG Sport for organising the very best medical facilities at these events, though unfortunately it wasn’t enough this time.

Wow, I was at Brands hatch yesterday. Tbh, I don’t follow the races and the riders so much, I go for the event of it all, get some nice photo’s etc. I was leaving when I noticed the helicopter move over on the pad, I had no idea what had gone on… I think I’m glad I didn’t see it really.
I read the other thread about this off first and so went to YouTube to see what I’d missed… now I read this one, seeing the worst did happen, I wish I hadn’t

Just want to express my deep shock, and upset at this terrible news.
Craig was a real star, and had an incredibly bright future.

This will be a monunental loss to the paddock. Craig was so liked, and so, so talented. He was destined for greatness. This country has lost one of it’s very best young stars.

Such a rare freak accident, but sickening to watch it happen mere metres away. Was almost in tears when I saw it as I thought the worst had happened there and then.
I hoped he would pull through when I read he had regained consciousness.
I feel so gutted now…It brings home how easily life can be taken away.
RIP Craig. I can’t begin to imagine what the family are going through. My thoughts are with them.
It is a very sad thing to see a young life ended in such circumstances.

We all deal with death in our own way. The worst thing is the helplessness you feel. Personally I see it a lot, so focusing on giving a good send off is my way of helping. I actually happen to be in relatively good contact with his father via a friend. So details regarding flowers could be arranged if wanted.
