Just wanted to congratulate the glorious Tottenham Hotspurs on their magnificent victory over Chelski in the Carling Cup Final at Wembley this afternoon:D

Gixergooner - seems to have a short memory - Arsenal certainly did not see it as a Mickey mouse trophy last season. They had two players sent off in the final that they lost to Chelsea. And before the Gooners start gloating - at least Spurs only put two goals past us!
I’ve no idea what you mean Chelsea Fan…:PWe are totally committed to the glorious double of Premiership and Champions League this season - just have to ease past AC Milan in the second leg to keep our plans on track…still it would be nice if our ‘fox in the box’ hadn’t been mullered by a clod hopping Brummy t**tCarling Cup - Been there done that.

Same here congrats to the SPURS,Just heard roads around Tottenham will be closed off at the weekend, this is due to the fact there will be a open top bus with players on it going through the town , showing off their CUP they won at wembley :laugh:Cos they probably wont win anything else for a while and its the first cup they have won in 9 years so it a bit like a memorable date for spurs fans, :laugh:

Been a lifelong Spurs fan Pat through good times and bad, unlike Arsenal fans who spit their dummies out and walk out when things dont go their way… ahem 5-1;)
Yeah but John that was YESTERDAY… what about today?
I was there! Sat just to the left of the goal at the Spurs end.
We stood and sang for the entire game. Was funny when the stewards were trying to get everyone to sit down…and then 30 seconds later someone would shout “Stand up if you love Tottenham” and we all got back up again…in the end the stewards gave up!
Have to say the Chelski support was very poor.
Still who cares. We’ve got some silverware, we have secured Europe for next season AND we managed to defend corners without conceding a goal!!!
