Just a few metres past the pedestrian crossing just before Old Billingsgate, about three feet from the kerb. It’s getting worse each day-the tarmac surrounding has broken away on three sides, and now the metal reinforcing beneath the cover is bending and cracked.
chucking a couple of bags of warmed up tarmac and chippings in it does not help. Within an hour it was all out and strewn up Lower Thames Street. maybe they will fix it over the weekend before it totally caves in.
