Thats not very nice :frowning: I thought you were a nice guy:w00t: a true gentle man :hehe::hehe:but obviously i got it wrong.

I did my test at Chingford with Brian.

He failed me first time on the U turn, he actually gave me a second chance to do it again but I messed that up too.

Passed the second time with Brian again, depending on what time your test is booked for I had mine at 8 a.m and he took me around all the residential roads and a couple of 60 mph roads which were all fairly quiet.

There are lots of hills and speed reminders in Chingford, so work on your hill starts. He’s very ‘by the book’ but I believe he’s retiring soon.

I have my test book at 11.00 am after i drop little one off to school. 8am is too early for me. hopefully i would missed the rush hour traffic:)

This Brian guy is long gone now.

I should be in the shop after your test , so pop in and let me know how you got on

Ian

Ian

for what my twopenneth is worth i passed at chingford and the examiner was a good bloke, saw i was really nervous and put me at ease, even gave me the few seconds i needed to gather my thoughts after getting through the U-turn. i don’t remember any unexpected roads, tricks etc. and it was much easier than at tolworth where i failed first time. that’s a total pig with 20s, 30s, 40s and nationals all close together.

Thanks guys ,No worries Ian i did promise i would pop by

Nice to meet you both Ian

Hi everyone,

Have my test in Chingford next week and am a bit worried. Apparently the pass rate is only 60% there.

Any hints / tips for that specific training centre or guys there? Any recent experiences?

Am training with Elite Motorcycle Training in Wimbledon and still have a couple of sessions left to practice
