Chelsea Bridge

Hi everyone! As you know Chelsea Bridge is a no go area on Fridays now. Last Friday there were at least 20 police standing on the pavements waving on anyone who tried to stop. Bikes have been meeting on Chelsea Bridge since the 50’s. I don’t know what you think but for me it’s really sad and just plain wrong for them to stop us and I really think we should do something about it instead of keeping quiet. Please let me know your thoughts and maybe we can organise something and if we do, word of mouth would be better than here. Thanks!

Da Brij will be great again someday…

In the meantime, does anyone have an old bike/car/truck alarm (the louder, the better!) and spare car battery that they aren’t using…

poleposition 600, this issue has been discussed at length on LB already. If you do a search for Chelsea Bridge, you’ll find the threads. It’s a big shame, though there’s room for negotiation with Wandsworth Police, as they don’t want to shut it down completely, but they are under pressure to see it doesn’t continue in its current form.

Do a search on Chelsea bridge for current feeling.

I’d be wary of your posts regarding this meet location and any action you intend to take - regardless of how tongue in cheek. These threads are viewed by the Police - openly and residents (who pass the info on to the law…).

It may sound daft but anything you put on this forum can easily be taken out of context by someone viewing the forum and if they have an axe to grind can report it to the police - who will might be pushed to act upon it.

I wouldn’t discuss any plans you might have on here either in the thread or via PM - it’s much better to speak face to face.

Basically what is needed is to ‘clean’ the area! The majority is paying for the very (very) small minority!

It’s always the same - rich poncey people in posh flats get the better of bad motorcycling leather clad hooligans… count me in to support da brij BC2

Er…yes…I know, but it was supposed to be a humourous reference to when barro… oh, dont worry
